He advises Web3-oriented businesses on regulatory and litigation issues, represents federal court-appointed receivers in the prosecution and administration of their estates and assists clients with government investigations.
A thought leader in the emerging cryptocurrency sector, Maland is Chair of Crypto and Blockchain Education for The Florida Bar and serves by appointment as the Second Vice Chair of the Florida Business Law Section’s Blockchain and Digital Assets Committee.

In the community, Maland proudly serves as the Chair of Miami’s American Jewish Committee (AJC) ACCESS Group and is a member of AJC’s Miami’s Executive Committee and Board. He also volunteers as a board member of the Morningside Civic Association and is actively involved in the improvement and preservation of Morningside Park – Miami’s largest city park.
