Scenes from The Verve Partnership’s 7th Annual Pie Party

Kelly Ennis (center), Founding & Managing Principal of The Verve Partnership, understands how hectic the holiday social scene can be, so she wanted to create separation and differentiation when initiating the company’s first “client thank-you event” seven years ago. She is pictured with (left) Rebecca Booth and Michele Bresnick Walsh of Gordon Feinblatt. “Pie is the traditional dessert for Thanksgiving, so we thought it would be appropriate to present everyone with an amazing pie, several days prior to the holiday,” Ennis explained. “The idea immediately resonated and we have continued the tradition ever since. This was our largest-attended event ever.”

The Verve Partnership is a strategy-centric interior architecture and design firm headquartered in Baltimore City. The firm approaches design challenges by studying how place is impacted by purpose and people from the “inside-out.”

“We relish the fact that our event is among the first of the holiday season, and sets the tone for several weeks of social and business get-togethers in which people can wind down and enjoy each other’s company. What makes this gathering particularly special is that it brings some truly amazing people together, whose paths may not otherwise cross. Each year, we learn of those that met new people with this event launching meaningful business relationships and friendships.”

Participants were given the choice of several different pie varieties to take home, baked by Dangerously Delicious Pies.
