Arch Insurance North America Promotes Brian First to President

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Arch Insurance North America today announced that Brian First has been promoted to President of Arch Insurance North America, effective Dec. 1. First was promoted from Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) of Programs, Property and Specialty, and he will continue to report to Matt Shulman, CEO of Arch Insurance North America. 

First, who joined Arch in 2014 and has 30 years of industry experience, will now have executive oversight over Arch Insurance’s business units and certain operations teams.
