Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Hermann is pleased to announce that Jordan Mark Kelso has joined the firm as an associate. Mr. Kelso focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, products liability and personal injury litigation, construction litigation, and risk management/mitigation.
Mr. Kelso has a unique, in-depth perspective on the construction field given his previous role as an iron worker. From the age of 17 until he began his legal career, he erected steel buildings in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. Today, he uses this knowledge to drive his construction litigation practice.
Prior to joining Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Hermann, Mr. Kelso was an associate at a full-service law firm in Philadelphia where he gained litigation experience in a variety of areas, including contracts, sports law, commercial real estate development, aviation, land use, trusts and estates, first amendment, creditors’ rights, employment law and product liability. Combining his legal and sports acumen, he was a founding member of the firm’s sports law practice.
A graduate of the Temple University, James Beasley School of Law, Mr. Kelso had the opportunity to serve as a judicial intern for the Honorable Freda L. Wolfson, United States District Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, while completing his studies. He also earned a B.A. in Law, Negotiations & Ethics with Minors in Political Science and Philosophy from Gettysburg College where he was a decorated member of the Gettysburg College Football Team.
