The Institute of Real Estate Management Boston Metropolitan Chapter No. 4 announced that William Woodward will serve as president of the chapter and will begin his term as of January 1, 2023. He and the other 2023 Officers and Board of Directors were installed at the organization’s December 1 meeting held at Granite Links in Quincy.
In addition to Woodward, Chris Salamanis-Rivera, CPM, ARM, was named as vice president; Tony Susi, CPM, ARM, was named as treasurer; and Yoany Vargas, CPM, ARM was named as secretary.
Woodward is a regional property manager with Greystar (www.greystar.com) New England region, overseeing property operations in the greater Boston area. He brings more than 15 years of experience in property management, including pre-development, new construction lease ups, high-rise, senior living, renovations, affordable housing, and mixed-use projects to his role as IREM Boston chapter president.
Prior to joining Greystar, he was a regional property manager for First Realty Management, directing the operations of 15 properties over a wide array of property types, classes, programs, and age throughout New England.
Woodward holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation and was named 2018 CPM of the Year. He has served as a member of the Massachusetts Apartment Association’s Education Committee since 2014 and was named the Association’s 2021 Portfolio Supervisor of the Year.
