
The Aventura Arts & Cultural Center invites arts lovers of all ages to start the New Yearby becoming volunteers and enjoy expanding their horizons, exploring new interests and contributing to the cultural community of South Florida.
The venue is offering a three-hour orientation course on Wednesday, January 11 at 6 p.m.
From retired seniors and to high school students eligible for community service hours, the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center volunteer ushers are a dynamic mix who greet patrons and usher them to their seats.
Volunteers commit to a full season by choosing a regular evening or matinee shift. Those interested in volunteering must first apply online at aventuracenter.org/support/volunteer.Applicants will be contacted by the volunteer coordinator prior to the scheduled orientation to confirm attendance.
Managed by the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center is a beautiful 14,864-square-foot waterfront performing arts facility situated on the intracoastal whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for Aventura by providing a variety of performing arts and relevant cultural programming for audiences of all ages.
