DXA studio, an award-winning New York City-based architecture and design firm, has partnered with MRV Group, a privately held commercial development, community development, and commodity diversity supplier, to donate all personal protective equipment (PPE) profits to underserved communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically to organizations that support minority women business enterprises (MWBE). The initiative is titled MWBE’s for PPE.
With the amount of PPE in short supply since the beginning of the pandemic, DXA studio is driving support to American manufacturers by advocating for the purchase of PPE through their partnership with MRV Group. DXA studio is committed to giving back to the community, and has also recently launched an extensive corporate Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity program.
“It comes as no surprise that minority and women-owned businesses have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Jordan Rogove, Co-Founder of DXA studio. “We’re thrilled about this initiative as a way to give back to the community in multiple ways.”
Participants of the initiative, when ordering discounted American Made PPE from MRV Group, will select a 501(c)(6) or 501(c)(3) of their choice to support and 21% of each order will be re-invested into those organizations that support MWBE’s and/or underserved communities within 7 days. MWBE’s For PPE will be taking place through August 31, 2021.
