Cabana, a Seattle, WA-based mobile hospitality company focused on offering experiences in camper vans, raised $3M in funding.
The round was led by TechNexus Venture Collaborative.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its continued growth into markets across the U.S., following expansions into San Francisco, California and Austin, Texas, announced earlier this year.
Led by CEO Scott Kubly, Cabana is a mobile hospitality company with a fleet of cabanas (camper vans), designed to create an integrated travel experience. The company works for connected travel through innovative technology and high-touch trip planning.
Cabana also unveiled its newly redesigned 2-person campervan, built on the Mercedes Sprinter, complete with an indoor kitchen, a convertible wet room, and a control panel for heat and hot water. The new vans will launch in the Austin market in January, with roll-outs into additional Cabana markets––including San Francisco, Seattle, and Los Angeles––over the course of 2023.
Bookings out of Austin are available online, with the first trips set to embark on January 9, 2023.
