Ring in the New Year at these Atlanta Restaurants

Atlanta restaurants invite guests to celebrate great memories of 2022 and new experiences to come with 2023. There is no better way to cap off the year than to commemorate it with tasty bites, craft cocktails, and time with friends. From lavish multi-course dinners, Champagne toasts, and brunches all over town to dancing the night away at Johnny’s Hideaway, a high-energy party at Virtue Rooftop at 5Church Midtown, and catering options from Cozy Coop, options abound for a festive celebration.

Multiple Locations

HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern invites guests to make new memories and ring in the new year with music and festive fun. All locations boast DJs, a dance floor, party favors, regular menus, food specials, and Champagne and bourbon flight specials starting at 8:30 p.m. In addition, Atlantic Station will have a second DJ upstairs, and Halcyon has a live band downstairs at 9:30 p.m. RSVP online for Brookhaven and Dunwoody; reserve free tickets for Atlantic Station or Halcyon. Priority entrance will be given to guests with RSVP or ticket. For weekend brunch on New Year’s Day, HOBNOB offers $17 bottomless mimosas at Brookhaven, $18.95 bottomless mimosas at Perimeter, and $17 mimosa pitchers at Halcyon and Atlantic Station. For college football fans, all locations will have TVs tuned to the big games on both days.

NaanStop at Atlantic Station will be open regular hours of 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day serving its mouthwatering menu of naan wraps, rice bowls and fresh salads and more. The Buckhead location also will be open but opening an hour later on New Year’s Day.

“Rring” in the New Year at Rreal Tacos with mouthwatering authentic Mexican street food. All Rreal Tacos locations—Midtown, West Midtown, and Chamblee—will be open during regular hours on both days.

Taco Mac will have TVs tuned in to the big games on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Fans can stop by any location for the irresistible Buffalo wings and a cold beer while enjoying college, NFL, and NBA games. All establishments will operate with regular hours on both days.

All locations of Twisted Kitchen—Midtown, Smyrna, and Marietta—will be open until 3 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. At Twisted Kitchen, guests start by choosing a pasta, salad, or wrap and then add ingredients from a kitchen full of fresh meats, cheeses, vegetables, and sauces.

Alpharetta

Guests are invited to spend New Year’s Eve at Cattle Shed Wine & Steak Bar and savor a four-course prix-fixe menu curated by award-winning executive chef Olivia Hurst. New Year’s Eve revelers can wine, dine and ring in the new year at Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails. Executive chef Derek Dollar has planned a specially curated three-course prix-fixe menu for $85 per person (excluding tax and gratuity). The regular menu will not be served. Offering a taste of land and sea, Ocean & Acre will be open on New Year’s Eve serving its regular menu, switching to a four-course prix-fixe menu with Champagne toast at 4 p.m. The cost is $85 per person (excluding tax and gratuity). Buckhead

Cap off 2022 with a four-course prix-fixe dinner at 5Church Buckhead. From 6-10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, guests will enjoy a decadent meal along with a half bottle of Champagne for parties of two and full bottles for parties of four. Guests are offered three tiers of dining experiences and reservation times: 6-6:45 p.m. for $90 per person; 7-7:45 p.m. for $100 per person; and 8-10 p.m. for $110 per person. For a delicious way to ring in 2023, Aria invites guests to celebrate New Year’s Eve with dinner from 5:30-10:30 p.m. The Buckhead restaurant will serve its nightly a la carte menu as well as its tasting menu. View the menus and make reservations online.

For a low-key night on the town, guests are invited to Chido & Padre’s on New Year’s Eve. The restaurant will serve its classic menu and have a DJ spinning tunes from 10 p.m. until late. Chido & Padre’s will reopen for brunch and dinner on New Year’s Day. Reservations can be made online.

New Year’s Eve diners can add some olé to their New Year’s Eve festivities at Gypsy Kitchen. The Buckhead Village eatery will open at noon on Dec. 31 with the New Year’s Eve celebration starting at 5 p.m. Guests will enjoy the restaurant’s classic menu plus a lobster paella feature, complimentary Champagne toast, and DJ from 10 p.m. until late. Postino WineCafé celebrates the new year by introducing the limited-time NYE Bougie Board + Bottle—a bruschetta board and premium bottle of bubbles for $50. The wine cafe will proceed with regular hours of operations on New Year’s Eve and is accepting reservations for groups of up to eight guests. New Year’s Eve partygoers are invited to drop anchor at The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill. The Buckhead restaurant will be open during normal hours serving a surf and turf special featuring filet mignon and butter-poached lobster tail with garlic butter. Squeal into the new year at The Blind Pig Parlour Bar. The eatery, which operates out of a welcoming yellow shipping container replicating the feeling of a “falafeliya” in Israel, will be open regular hours of 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on New Year’s Day.
