
JRM Construction Management will collaborate with L+M Development Partners to construct a new admissions office for Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey encompassing 4,122 square feet. The new office will be located at 155 Washington Street, Newark, New Jersey.
The office will be constructed to include various assistant directors’ offices, director’s office, a kitchen, a lobby and reception area, a conference room, a presentation room, and a student counselor’s workspace. The office will also include restrooms, a student processing/call center, and a storage area. Designers have planned to make the space visually exciting with a contemporary finish package, including wall graphics, ceiling clouds, and movable glass partitions.
“It will be a state-of-the-art office with a design that emphasizes openness,” said Marc Reissman, Executive Vice President at JRM, “We hope that the faculty at Rutgers enjoy their new office.”
Inglese Architecture and Engineering will be working on the project and construction is set to begin in early February.
