Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC), a leading provider of commercial real estate capital markets financing solutions, announced the hiring of William Lanting as Managing Director in its Long Beach, California. office.
Mr. Lanting brings extensive real estate financing experience to his new role at MMCC and will be responsible for originating commercial debt and equity transactions across various property types, including hospitality, multifamily, office, industrial, retail, and senior housing. Mr. Lanting will report to John Manning, Senior Vice President, Head of Production, Western Region.
Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. Lanting served as a commercial real estate loan originator with several Southern California-based lenders, including Thorofare Capital, Partners Capital Finance, and RealtyShares. Most recently, Mr. Lanting served as Chief Production Officer at District Capital.

Mr. Lanting is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He holds a real estate broker’s license in the state of California.
