This coverage is also available to customers of Edison Insurance Company, FPI’s wholly owned subsidiary. This is the first time either company will offer this type of coverage.

Equipment Breakdown Coverage, which is offered at $50 per year, protects a range of common household equipment including:
- Central AC
- Household appliances
- Computer equipment
- Emergency generator
- Personal electronics
- Water heater
- Security systems
- Well pumps
Equipment Breakdown and Service Line Coverage is offered at $80 per year. Service Line Coverage protects a range of buried lines including:
- Water lines
- Electrical lines
- Sewer lines
- Steam piping
- Fiber optic lines
- Drainage lines
- Ground loop piping
- Phone lines
Both Equipment Breakdown and Service Line Coverage options are being offered with a $500 deductible for each and with no restrictions on the age of the equipment. Service Line Coverage will not be offered separately.
