Celebrating the Rededication of the Gordon Center for Performing Arts

The Gordon Center for Performing Arts is proud to unveil their brand new, updated grand lobby at the 5th Annual J Live on Thursday March 30, 2023, starting at 7:30pm. This will be an extraordinary evening of art, entertainment, and community.

Be one of the first to see the newly reimagined lobby that features a more open, contemporary floor plan and layout with a larger concession area, a built-in 11 ft. free-standing video wall, new carpeting, LED lighting, and an updated display space in the Joseph & Rebecca Meyerhoff Gallery.  All guests can enjoy a delectable menu of desserts, plus complimentary beer and wine. There is also a pre-show cocktail and dinner for our VIP level donors.

Peruse a remarkable exhibition of award-winning local artist Stacy Lund Levy in the newly renovated Joseph & Rebecca Meyerhoff Gallery. Stacy’s work can be viewed at LundArtStudios.com. Ms. Lund Levy will conduct a hands-on Community Art Project where everyone can lend a personal touch to a permanent installation that will reside in the new Gordon Center lobby.

Once inside the theatre, the Gordon Center Honors program will salute the individuals and organizations who helped the Gordon Center take its place as Baltimore County’s premiere performing arts center. Following the program, you can sing and dance along to Motown Forever, featuring hits performed by legends including Theo Peoples, former lead singer of The Four Tops, Glenn Leonard, former Lead Singer of The Temptations and Traci Robinson, former lead singer of The Marvelettes, backed by an All-Star live band.

The support of our 5th Annual J Live ensures that everyone in our community, regardless of their financial ability can benefit from innovative JCC programs including Habimah Arts Camp, Stoler Early Learning Center, J Camps, and JCC membership.

Ticket levels range from $85-$250. For more information, please visit J LIVE Presents: Forever Motown | Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore (jcc.org).
