
WHAT: Atlantans can bring their family, friends and cozy blankets to celebrate Black History Month with a family-friendly outdoor movie series on Atlantic Green at Atlantic Station. To kick off the movie series, Whitney Houston’s film “Cinderella” will be showing on Monday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m., followed by “The Great Debaters” on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. and “42” on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. Before the movie starts, grab a delicious bite to eat at one of the many Black-owned restaurants at Atlantic Station, including recently opened Rosé Bistro and Champagne Bar and Day & Night Cereal Bar. You can also indulge in retail therapy while supporting Atlantic Station’s Black-owned shops, including The Sistah Shop, Tony’s Barber Studio, Derek Automotive and pop-up shops Country Bumkin, Ivy Showroom and Repeat Atlanta.

An American biographical sports film about legendary baseball player Jackie Robinson, the first Black athlete to play in Major League Baseball during the modern era and how he changed the game forever.
