Fast-Casual Mediterranean Franchise Now Offering $4.95 Mini Pitas
Facing rampant inflation, rising food costs, and customer needs, PITA Mediterranean Street Food founder and CEO Nour Rabai knew changes were necessary to the street food menu.
“It’s our 10th anniversary, a good time to examine and broaden our menu offerings,” says Rabai. “PITA is well known for its made-to-order Mediterranean cuisine and for creating the best customer experience possible for our guests. Changes were necessary to keep those core values at the forefront.”
With recent enhancements to ordering processes, the fast-growing franchise continues to put its guests first by adding new value menu options. PITA, known for its quick service and good food at an affordable price, will roll out the revamped menu this month with an emphasis on providing value to customers.
The new-and-improved PITA menu highlights freshness, flavor, and consumer choice. It includes an increase in traditional dishes and presentations, enabling the franchise to utilize ingredients better and assist with ease of operations, and new value menu selections.
Some of the updates and additions include:
- New $4.95 mini pitas
- New starters such as spanakopita and veggie grape leaves
- Classic Mediterranean wraps made with traditional lavash
- Authentic mezze including crispy deep cheese rolls, available with chicken, gyro, or seafood
- The option of traditional rice or salad greens in popular bowls
- A variety of new sauces
Instead of an a la carte approach, PITA guests are accustomed to a wrap partnered with a side dish. “It creates a WOW factor at one set price point,” says Rabai.
The new menu items simultaneously streamline workflow, enhance the guest experience and potentially offer a better bottom line for franchisees.
