A virtual conference created to educate, learn, inspire and network
TechFW’s second Women & Wealth Conference, a virtual event for female entrepreneurs and investors, will feature keynote speakers Lauren Wessinger in the morning and Jasmin Brand in the afternoon.
The event’s focus is on investing, education, innovation and wellness. It is scheduled March 8th from 8 am – 3 pm CST.
Wessinger, founder of Lauren Yoga and The Daily Well, will be interviewed by Holland Sanders-Lopez , CEO of Holland Collective. They will discuss the importance of taking care of yourself, which is the greatest wealth of any entrepreneur.
Wessinger coaches individuals on living mindfully. Understanding that we are an overworked and overwhelmed society, her workshops inspire ways to feel better in life without it being “one more thing” to add to the calendar. She is a certified mindfulness instructor through the University of California at Berkeley
Brand, founder of Her Texas, will be interviewed by Tiffany Blackmon, host of the podcast My So-Called Fabulous. They will discuss her entrepreneurial journey and the importance of women investing in themselves and other female entrepreneurs.
Brand is an award-winning marketer and serial entrepreneur who has earned a community reputation as an out-of-the-box strategist and a leader when it comes to the business of innovation and community building. Last spring, she was named the first Director of Innovation for the Frisco (Tx.) Economic Development Corporation, and is responsible for the creation of a tech-focused business expansion and community engagement strategy.
In 2019, she founded Her Texas, a tech-enabled membership platform that increases community, connectivity and capital for women that do business in Texas. Brand was recognized as a Minority Business Leader of the Year by the Dallas Business Journal and was the first recipient of the Young Professional Leadership ATHENA Award presented by the Dallas Regional Chamber and KPMG.
“Bringing together entrepreneurs and investors for education and inspiration creates a dynamic that strengthens the connection points and ultimately increases the overall investment in women-led ventures,” said Dev’n Goodman, Engagement Manager at TechFW and the event director.
