U.S. Century Bank, one of the largest community banks headquartered in Florida, is pleased to announce that board member Maria C. Alonso has been named CEO and regional dean of Northeastern University’s Miami Campus. Northeastern is a global research university and the world leader in experiential learning. Northeastern has 14 campuses across North America and the UK.
Previously, Alonso served as president and CEO of United Way Miami, one of the region’s largest philanthropies. She is a recognized community leader with more than 25 years of experience across banking, marketing, social responsibility, and community engagement. Alonso joined the board of U.S. Century Bank in April 2022.

Ms. Alonso is a recognized community leader having received numerous awards celebrating her civic, business and philanthropic contributions to the South Florida community.
