Foley Hoag Recognized by BTI as Leading Litigation Firm

Foley Hoag has been recognized in in two recent reports compiled by BTI Consulting Group, focusing on law firm litigation departments. The first list recognizes firms moving Upmarket in Litigation by being “able to handle the new types of matters and better handle the old” and gaining work at higher than market rates. The second recognizes the Most Feared Law firms in litigation, in which Foley Hoag ranked as an “Intimidating Opponent.”

BTI’s Upmarket in Litigation list highlights 55 firms out of the approximately 650 competing for litigation work, that BTI considers to be ahead of the market-shifting curve and taking on industry-leading work. Research for this recognition is based on client interviews and prioritizes firms that are the first out with thought leadership and targeted business development.

Their Most Feared in Litigation list highlights 46 firms that are valorous, savvy and super smart, energized, mobilized and unabating in litigation. The most fearsome firms were selected based on interviews with legal decision makers about which firms they don’t want to see on the other side of the table in litigation.
