Miles & Stockbridge Elects Principals Kelly Powers and Scott Wilson to Board

Expanded Board To Help Lead Firm Through Strong Growth Phase

Miles & Stockbridge announced today that Kelly A. Powers and Scott R. Wilson have been elected to the mid-Atlantic law firm’s Board of Directors. The new board positions expand the Board of Directors to 10 members who will lead Miles & Stockbridge’s strategic direction and support the long-term success and growth of the firm. Both Powers and Wilson are principals who have built their practices at Miles & Stockbridge over the last 15 years.

Powers is a principal in the Family Law & Private Clients Practice Group at Miles & Stockbridge and co-leader of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Wilson is a principal who leads the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group.

“Kelly and Scott have been instrumental in the firm’s historic growth and success,” said Nancy Greene, chairman, president and CEO. “I am thrilled to have them play an even larger role, now on the board. Litigation and Corporate—practices that Kelly and Scott lead—were key to a very strong 2022 for the firm. We are representing clients in highly sophisticated litigation and disputes. And, Corporate is crushing it as one of the preeminent mergers and acquisitions practices in the mid-Atlantic. Our 2022 transactional revenue was the second highest in firm history, behind 2021 only, showing it continues to be an engine of success for clients and the firm.”
