
SSH Real Estate, a full-service commercial real estate company headquartered in Philadelphia, has announced the acquisition of Advantage Building & Facilities Services (Advantage), a property and facilities management company. The acquisition brings SSH to 100 employees and expands the geographic region that the company serves to include Western Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C.
“SSH has utilized Advantage’s maintenance services for several of our suburban property management assignments, and we have been extremely impressed with the quality of service provided,” said Pete Soens, Founding Partner of SSH. “The acquisition of Advantage not only expands our property management platform but has enabled us to create a new maintenance service division to offer tailored specific maintenance services based on the diverse needs of our clients.”
The Advantage brand will become SSH with facility maintenance services branded as SSH Advantage Maintenance Services.
Founded in 1952, SSH Real Estate is one of the region’s largest privately held commercial real estate companies with services including brokerage, property management and investments. Advantage was founded in 2005 and provides full building property management and maintenance services to commercial office buildings, flex buildings, retail locations, office and industrial parks and commercial condominium associations.
