Avery Point, an Erickson Senior Living-managed community in Short Pump, Virginia, is experiencing an unprecedented demand for its active retirement lifestyle. In response, the community is opening two new independent living buildings this year. Stafford Glen opened in February, and Langham Terrace will follow in the summer of 2023.
Stafford Glen and Langham Terrace feature 203 luxury one and two-bedroom apartment homes, each with a custom design and a variety of luxurious features, including open, airy layouts and contemporary fixtures. Most floor plans also include a patio or balcony.
Additionally, two more buildings will open in 2024—Boynton Place and Wilton Crossing—with
reservations filling up fast. These new buildings bring additional amenities, including a new dining venue, an art studio, a multipurpose classroom, and a woodshop.
“Avery Point is proud to meet the tremendous demand in the Richmond area for our active, affordable, and maintenance-free retirement lifestyle,” said Executive Director Todd DeLaney. “Our team looks forward to welcoming more residents to our community and providing them with outstanding amenities and services.”
Every stunning apartment home at Avery Point has convenient access to resort-like amenities, including a swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, theater, salon, on-site medical center, restaurants featuring chef-prepared cuisine, library, dozens of clubs, walking paths, and much more.
Avery Point, situated on a beautiful 94-acre campus, opened in October 2022. Upon full build-out, the community will feature 1,200 independent living apartment homes and an on-site continuing care neighborhood with multiple levels of care (assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing).
