Additionally, APG has secured a new 23,420-square-foot lease at Palisades and a 47,000-square-foot renewal at Overlook I. TRC Staffing Services (TRC), an award-winning staffing agency, has signed a 23,420-square-foot, full-floor lease at Palisades, a 639,000-square-foot project in the heart of Central Perimeter. Established in 1980, TRC is one of the largest privately-held staffing firms in the country, with over 40 years of industry experience. The firm will bring 150 employees to the top floor of the recently renovated building, with the expected move in set for October 2023. Chip Adair of Adair Realty Advisors represented TRC .
“Our new office space gives us room to continue providing top-of-the-line workforce management solutions in the center of Atlanta,” said Brian Robinson, CEO at TRC. “APG’s property-wide improvements and commitment to decarbonization ensures we’re not only facilitating what’s best for our employees, but for the environment, as well. We look forward to this next chapter of growth and success for our team.”
In addition, APG’s long-standing relationship with Paradies Lagardère, led to a 47,000-square-foot renewal at Overlook I, a 142,000-square foot office building in Vinings. Paradies Lagardère was represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Christian Taylor and Addison Meriwether .
“With APG as our management provider over the years, our values have always been uplifted alongside their own,” said Shawn Lauria Paradies Lagardère. “It was an easy decision to continue our lease at Overlook I, knowing we’ll continue working with them as our partner.”
APG sold 1075 Big Shanty, a 72,000-square-foot single-story office building located at 1075 Big Shanty Rd. in Kennesaw for $8.1 million earlier this month. The building is in close proximity to many area amenities with easy access to I-75 via Chastain Road and adjacent to the Kennesaw State University campus.
In addition, after 10 years of ownership, APG sold Paces Cumberland, a 70,000-square-foot multi-tenant office building located at the intersection of I-285 and Paces Ferry Rd in the heart of the Vinings community.
“As we continue to deploy our proven third-party management and leasing platform to the larger Atlanta market, we’re committed to providing all owners, investors and tenants with proven strategies that exceed their goals,” said Austin Chase, Managing Partner, Real Estate Services at APG.
The firm’s owned portfolio consists of 1.9 million square feet of office properties and 700,000 square feet of industrial properties. Last year, APG acquired 950,000 square feet of industrial space across eight buildings, and as the industrial market continues to experience strong fundamentals, the firm plans to grow its industrial portfolio significantly in 2023. APG is currently targeting existing distribution properties in the Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Raleigh and Central Florida markets.
