Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, the nation’s first and only law firm with offices in all 50 states, announces the addition of prominent healthcare defense counsel Jason K. Winslow and Blair P. Keltner to the Health Care practice group in the firm’s St. Louis office. They join the firm from Hinshaw & Culbertson. They are joined by a team of three professional staff members.
Winslow has defended more than 100 medical malpractice cases within the past decade, involving labor and delivery, surgery, anesthesia, cardiology, radiology, emergency medicine, primary care, and nursing care, among others. He regularly defends hospitals, physician groups, doctors, mid-level providers, and other medical professionals. He is the former chair of his previous firm’s national Health Care Practice Group. He has tried cases to defense verdict, including as lead counsel in a variety of medical malpractice cases. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and Missouri.
Keltner has experience defending medical malpractice suits involving surgery, labor and delivery, podiatry, emergency medicine, nursing care, and primary care, among others. Keltner handles health care litigation matters throughout central and southern Illinois and the greater St. Louis area. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and Missouri.
“Our healthcare practice group continues to grow in number and caliber. We are looking forward to Jason and Blair joining our team. Their presence in the St. Louis market further strengthens our commitment to serve our health care clients and partners on the firm’s 50 state platform,” said Lindsey Romano, Health Care practice group co-chair.
Winslow and Keltner are the latest in a string of new laterals who have joined Gordon & Rees in the past month, and the third group from Hinshaw & Culbertson. They follow three other healthcare lawyers who joined in Chicago last month and the chair of the appellate practice earlier this week. Winslow and Keltner’s arrival also comes on the heels of a 30-member litigation team that joined the firm’s New Jersey, New York and Westchester offices three weeks ago.
“In addition to bolstering our roster of litigators in St. Louis, Jason, and Blair are client-focused engaging attorneys who will fit right in the firm’s office and culture,” said Jay Morris, Managing Partner in St. Louis.
