Caregility Promotes Telehealth Trailblazer Wendy Deibert to Chief Nursing Officer

EATONTOWN, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Caregility, an enterprise telehealth leader dedicated to connecting care for patients and clinicians everywhere, is pleased to announce the promotion of Wendy Deibert, EMBA, BSN, RN, to Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). She moves into the new role from her previous position as Senior Vice President of Clinical Solutions at Caregility. As CNO, Deibert will provide clinical leadership and expertise to the company and its customers to ensure that Caregility’s virtual care platform and telehealth solutions are clinically sound and meet the clinical workflow needs of clinicians, patients, and other end users.

Deibert has played an instrumental role in establishing the company’s reputation as a clinically driven solution provider, helping to garner Caregility Cloud™ recognition as the Best in KLAS Virtual Care Platform (non-EMR) in 2021, 2022, and 2023. She brings 35 years of clinical experience as a bedside critical care nurse, telehealth operations manager, and senior consultant to the role of CNO. Prior to joining Caregility, Deibert served as Vice President of Telehealth Services at Mercy Virtual, where she helped launch the world’s first all-virtual hospital in August 2015. She has since helped hundreds of healthcare teams across the U.S. and internationally to integrate sustainable virtual care programs into their care delivery models.

“Wendy’s dedication, passion, and knowledge have been a driving force in Caregility’s growth since the inception of the company, and her promotion to CNO reflects the significant role she has played in establishing our clinical credibility,” said Caregility President and COO Mike Brandofino. “As CNO, she will be a tremendous asset in informing virtual care strategy and roadmapping on behalf of our company as well as our health system partners.”

“My experience as a patient, a nurse, a nurse manager, and a virtual care program builder has afforded me a unique appreciation of the important role that telehealth can play in improving communications, care collaboration, and patient engagement in their care journey,” said Deibert. “I look forward to sharing my experience to help health systems build virtual care programs that improve clinician/patient experience as well as clinical outcomes, as I believe we’re just scratching the surface of what virtual care can help us achieve.”

Deibert’s promotion to CNO follows the recent appointment of Kedar Ganta as Caregility’s new Chief Product and Engineering Officer and Paul Oliver as the company’s new Chief Revenue Officer. The three new chief executive appointments are representative of Caregility’s growth and its commitment to delivering clinically driven enterprise telehealth solutions that healthcare organizations can trust, scale, and build on as hybrid care models advance.
