Ladera Capital Partners Appoints Michael Kavanau as Chief Investment Officer

AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–JLL executive Michael Kavanau is joining Austin-based multifamily investment firm Ladera Capital Partners as Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Kavanau and CEO Mike Hooks will oversee the firm’s investment strategies. 

Mr. Kavanau has over 35 years of real estate experience, having completed over 1,000 transactions valued at over $30 billion, with a focus on multi-housing, office, industrial and retail properties. Prior to joining Ladera, Mr. Kavanau was with JLL (and formerly HFF), most recently as Chairman of the EMEA Debt Advisory business based. Additionally, he was a member of JLL’s US Executive Committee Council, the EMEA Executive Committee, the JLL Global Capital Markets Advisory Board and the US DEI Committee. Mr. Kavanau began his career at JLL in Boca Raton, Florida and went on to lead the firm’s Florida region, subsequently starting the firm’s Chicago and London offices.
