
Eclipse, a Palo Alto, CA-based venture capital firm investing in companies that redefine physical industries, announced $1.23B in new funds.
The raise, which brought total assets under management to $4 billion, comprised:
- $720m for Eclipse Fund V, the Early-Stage Fund that will focus on pre-seed, seed, and Early-Stage companies;
- $510m for Eclipse Early Growth Fund II, which will focus on breakout portfolio companies and seek new opportunities at Series B and C.
Founded by Lior Susan, Eclipse will use these funds to invest in the industries that make up 75% of the world’s $100T GDP, like manufacturing, supply chain, transportation, healthcare infrastructure, semiconductor, energy, etc.
