Chris Garner will serve as the Director of Federal Systems Integrator (FSI) Sales, Melissa Hardt will be the new Director of Marketing, and Wendy Noker will work as Director of Channel and Alliances. These executives will support Federal customer and partner communities and continue to build on Hitachi Vantara Federal’s legacy of excellence in providing industry-leading digital solutions to the government. They will report to Hitachi Vantara Federal’s new Chief Revenue Officer, Phil Fuster.
Garner joins Hitachi Vantara Federal from Proofpoint, where he served as the Senior Director for Federal. As an established business leader with decades of IT and sales experience, he is skilled in devising and implementing strategic, value-driven IT solutions for the Federal Government and commercial markets. To this role, Garner will bring his wealth of knowledge and unparalleled expertise in identifying and developing relationships with SI partners to help foster growth and revenue for the company.
As the new Director of Marketing, Hardt will be responsible for all marketing efforts and revenue generating activities across a broad ecosystem of customers, resellers, distributors, and strategic alliances. She is a highly accomplished marketing professional with deep industry knowledge. Prior to joining Hitachi Vantara Federal, Hardt was the Chief Owner and Operator of Red Panda Marketing, an all-in-one digital marketing firm for small and local businesses. Before that she was the Vice President, Demand Generation at Bizzabo, and also held marketing roles at Splunk, Oracle, and SAP.
In her new role as Director of Channel and Alliances, Noker will be responsible for the design, management, and execution of Hitachi Vantara Federal’s Channel, Distribution, and Alliance Partner Programs. She will also drive strategy across deal registration, sales engagement, partner training, and partner enablement. Noker has a proven track record of success in strategic planning and execution and a strong understanding of the technology industry with various tenures at companies like VMware, Riverbed Technology, and Qumulo that will underpin her leadership of Hitachi Vantara Federal’s partner programs.
