Divaris Real Estate Strengthens Leadership Team to Support Growth Trajectory with Appointment of New CFO and Tony Divaris as COO
Divaris Real Estate today announced a strategic leadership restructuring, appointing David Sutliff as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company. David, a seasoned financial professional with over 18 years of experience at KPMG, has been an advisor to Divaris for the past 12 years, bringing a wealth of expertise and industry knowledge to the organization.
In his role as CFO, David Sutliff will play a pivotal role in guiding Divaris Real Estate’s financial strategy and in driving operational efficiencies. His impressive background and in-depth understanding of the business make him an invaluable addition to the executive team.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy (BSBA) and a Masters of Science in Accounting (MSA) from East Carolina University and is a licensed CPA in the State of Virginia. David is a member of the CIVIC Leadership institute, class of 2019.
This leadership restructuring comes at a time of significant growth for Divaris Real Estate, marked by a joint venture with KLNB, the acquisition of the Edge property management and engineering portfolio, the recent acquisition of The McGarey Group, and the resulting addition of new offices in Rockville, Md.; Pinehurst, N.C.; Ann Arbor, Mich.; and San Diego, Calif. These developments increased the staffing component of the Divaris Group to over 200 employees and necessitated a reorganization of executive management support.
In conjunction with David’s appointment, Tony Divaris, previously the International Controller/CFO, has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO, Tony’s main objectives are to enhance the operations of the Divaris Group, while implementing strategic changes to improve and complement the firm’s current growth trajectory.

The Executive Committee will now consist of Gerald Divaris as Chairman and CEO, Michael Divaris as President, Tony Divaris as COO, David Sutliff as CFO, and Gwen Gilbert as Chief Human Resources Officer. With this formidable team, and the support of its Principals who run their various offices, the Divaris Group is well-set to continue its trajectory of success in the market and in the real estate industry, on a nationwide basis.
