Trademark Property Company Says Marketing Matters to Mixed-Use Success

Trademark announced three promotions as part of its growing focus on dwell times, social media, event programming and other new-age mixed-use metrics

Trademark Property Company (Trademark), a mixed-use investor, developer and operator, today announced the promotions of three leaders as part of its experiential marketing strategy. Todd Anderton has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Marketing, Laura Hale to Vice President of Portfolio Marketing and Stephany Ruiz to Vice President of Experience. The announcement marks a strategic move as the firm combines its Experience and Marketing teams.

“In an era marked by e-commerce and remote work, marketing and experiential activations matter now more than ever to the success of mixed-use real estate,” said Terry Montesi, Founder and CEO of Trademark. “As part of the reorganization, we are focusing more heavily on modern metrics that matter to our tenants – social media followings, event attendance, brand awareness and dwell time, among others. By integrating our marketing and experience disciplines, we will amplify the role each plays across properties and at a corporate level.”

Experiential programming and activations are at the core of Trademark’s property-level marketing strategies. As Senior Vice President of Marketing, Anderton will work alongside Ruiz and the entire marketing team to execute marketing and guest services at the highest level, with an increased efficiency and focus on results. As Vice President of Experience, Ruiz will provide guidance and leadership in the experience sector of marketing, as well as guest services. In her new position as Vice President of Portfolio Marketing, Hale will provide guidance, training, mentorship and oversight to all field marketing personnel and share best practices across the nationwide portfolio.

“Whether it’s accumulating social media followings in the tens of thousands or planning the best holiday programming in the region, our marketing teams are executing exceptional programs that attract people to our properties and keep them there for hours on end,” said Anderton. “In mixed-use real estate, an impactful marketing program is critical to the success of the property, and these investments in our department further our ability to innovate and stay ahead of the curve.”

At Trademark, each property marketing plan is built from the ground up. The company uses leading-edge analytics to identify user segments, test creatives and hone approaches that produce customized marketing strategies unique to each property. Trademark’s guest services initiatives also take traditional customer service and residential amenities to a higher level by offering unparalleled and convenient services, enhancements and amenities.

Today, Trademark’s mixed-use, retail and institutional services portfolio includes Galleria Dallas, WestBend, Waterside and Alliance Town Center in Fort Worth; Market Street – The Woodlands in The Woodlands (Houston); La Palmera Mall in Corpus Christi, Texas; Zona Rosa in Kansas City, Missouri; Annapolis Town Center in Annapolis, Maryland; Bridgewater Commons in New Jersey; North Point in Alpharetta (Atlanta); and Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In addition to the current portfolio, Trademark previously worked on notable projects such as Victory Park and Preston Oaks in Dallas, Watters Creek in Allen (Dallas) and Rice Village in Houston.

Additionally, Trademark is well underway with establishing a formidable multi-family platform, with four new developments nearing completion of design and entitlement.
