BuildOps, a Los Angeles, CA-based provider of management software built specifically for the modern commercial contractor, raised $50M in funding.
The round, which brought the total amount to $100M, was led by Fika Ventures and 01 Advisors, a venture capital firm backed by former Twitter CEO, Dick Costolo, who has also joined the Board.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and cement its market position.
Led by CEO and Founder Alok Chanani, BuildOps provides a SaaS platform for commercial service and project-oriented trade contractors to manage their workflows and address industry-wide challenges like supply chain delays and the skilled labor shortage. The purpose-built technology platform integrates scheduling, dispatching, inventory management, contracts, workflow, purchasing, and invoicing into a single software suite for commercial contractors of all sizes, ranging from a dozen employees to several thousand.
