Sharpen Technologies, Inc., an Indianapolis, IN-based provider of an all-in-one unified contact center platform, acquired Webtext, a Galway, Ireland-based omnichannel messaging software solution provider.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Webtext’s messaging capabilities combined with SharpenCX’s agent-first solutions and advanced analytics backbone will enhance the omnichannel contact center experience for both customers and agents.
Founded in 2014, and led by A.J. Cahill, CEO, Webtext is a Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) solution providing turnkey enterprise messaging for contact centers. Its Application Programming Interface (API)-driven solution allows contact centers to integrate inbound and outbound messaging into existing programs or applications. The company serves customers across many industries, with a focus on the financial services, insurance, and healthcare sectors.
