Keswick, a not-for-profit nursing home and aging services provider serving the community for more than 139 years, today announced the appointment of Regina Figueroa as executive director of the Keswick Multi-Care Center. The Keswick Multi-Care Center offers long-term care and short-stay rehabilitation and nursing care including on-site dialysis.
Figueroa brings more than 22 years of senior health care and wellness experience to her role at Keswick including home health care, continuing care retirement communities, long term care, sub-acute rehab, acute/outpatient facilities, HUD affordable senior housing properties and more.
She joins Keswick from National Lutheran Communities and Services where she was chief operating officer. Prior to NLCS, Figueroa was the chief administrative officer of Stella Maris, Inc. in Timonium, Md., providing oversight for multiple senior services business lines under the leadership of Mercy Health Services. Prior to that, she spent seven years in New Jersey as a regional vice president for skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, hospice and home health care. Figueroa also spent 10 years with Life Care Centers of America in several administrative capacities throughout five states.
“This is an exciting time for Keswick as we welcome such an experienced and dedicated leader to our team,” said Aileen McShea Tinney, CEO of Keswick. “With more than two decades of experience in care and services for older adults, Regina will be a key part in this next chapter of growth in Keswick’s long history in Baltimore.
“Regina’s desire to get back to her roots in nursing home administration while sharing her strengths built throughout her career aligns with Keswick’s mission to improve the experience of aging, together, and our vision of greater fulfillment and freedom in aging, for all,” McShea Tinney said.
Figueroa serves as Keswick Multi-Care Center’s licensed nursing home administrator and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University and a master’s degree in health services administration from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
