CBRE Hotels Facilitates Sale of Two South Florida Hotels

CBRE has arranged the sale of two hotels, Hyatt House and Hyatt Place in Dania Beach, Fla., totaling 292 keys.  Florida-based Kolter Hospitality purchased the portfolio from a New York-based seller.

Christian CharrePaul Weimer and Jennifer Jin with CBRE Hotels represented the seller in the transaction.

“The buyer was attracted to these properties due to their location, branding and strong performance.   The Hyatt House offers suites for extended stays, and the Hyatt Place attracts travelers on business, widening the appeal to a diverse traveler base,” said CBRE Executive Vice President Christian Charre.

Hyatt House is a 143-key property located at 90 SW 18th Ave., and Hyatt Place is a 149-key property located at 91 SW 18th Ave. The hotels sit on neighboring parcels along Interstate 95, within Dania Pointe, a 102-acre, mixed-use development with more than 1,000 multifamily units and over 1 million square feet of office and retail space. The properties are located within a 10-minute drive to the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades.
