Chocolates, fudge and ice cream now available on downtown Gainesville Square.
terra alma, a woman-owned boutique real estate advisory firm, announces that Kilwins Gainesville is now open in the heart of downtown Gainesville, located in the newly built Gainesville Renaissance building.
Local entrepreneurs and Franchisee/Store Owners, Jeff and Genia Reid, teamed up with terra alma, Associate Michaela Boone, while searching for the perfect retail location. Jeff Reid states that her guidance in securing the space demonstrated a “deep understanding of the unique requirements for our first commercial real estate investment.”
“We didn’t want to go into an older building. The Gainesville Renaissance is perfect – it’s a new build right on the square in Gainesville,” said Reid. “Michaela did a fantastic job of helping us navigate the process. She educated us on the prevailing rates, things to look out for and everything we needed to know.”
Boone praised the Reids’ dedication and passion. “Working with Jeff and Genia has been a rewarding experience. They are deeply committed to the Kilwins brand. We are thrilled to have been a part of their story and look forward to supporting their future growth.”
Jeff Reid added, “Our experience with terra alma was exceptional, and we 100 percent recommend their services. They’ve played a significant role in our venture, and we plan to partner with them as we add more franchise locations. We are excited to bring the Kilwins experience to Gainesville.”
The Reids have a deep connection with the Kilwins brand. For years they enjoyed visiting Kilwins stores on vacations and decided that Gainesville needed a similar experience. Their professional backgrounds were a natural fit for the company’s franchise profile, and they fell in love with the culture.
Kilwins Gainesville is now open! Stop by for a taste of freshly made fudge, dark chocolate sea-salt caramel apples, chocolate-dipped confections or any flavor of Kilwins’ super-premium original recipe ice cream in a freshly made waffle cone.
Located in historic downtown Gainesville, Kilwins Gainesville is a franchisee of the Kilwins Chocolates, Fudge and Ice Cream brand. Owned by Jeff and Genia Reid, Kilwins is dedicated to providing the local community with high-quality sweet treats and desserts.
