Leadership Howard County, which seeks to empower leaders to strengthen and transform the community, named Theresa Forgét, vice president of human resources for Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, to its board of directors. Forgét graduated from Leadership Premier this year.
She brings more than 15 years of experience in human resources leadership. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins Howard County, Forgét held HR positions for The Y in Central Maryland, the city of Yonkers, Montefiore Health System, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Onward Healthcare. She earned a master’s degree in student personnel administration from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Sacred Heart University.
Leadership Howard County’s board leadership this year will be:

- Joe Garrison, divisional chair for operations and finance
- Sue Ann Shafley, divisional chair for leadership programming
- Brendan Mahoney, divisional chair for resource development
- Kimberly Prescott, secretary
- Paul Skalny, general counsel
