Bon Secours, Chipotle and Stretch Zone Join Ivymont Square Shopping Center
Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer and Morrissette Companies are pleased to announce the newly built outparcel retail building added to Ivymont Square Shopping Center is fully leased. Ivymont Square, a Kroger-anchored 168,770 square foot shopping center located on Midlothian Turnpike at the intersection of LeGordon Avenue in Chesterfield County, recently completed the construction and lease-up of a 8,128-square foot retail building that has over 150’ of frontage and visibility along Midlothian Turnpike. Tenants joining the new outparcel include Bon Secours (4,404 SF), Chipotle (2,409 SF), and Stretch Zone (1,315 SF).
Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) was the first tenant signed for the outparcel, with an opening in Fall 2022. This location features one of Richmond area’s first Chipotlelane®, the brand’s digital order drive-thru pick-up lane. The Chipotlane provides guests and delivery drivers with a fast and convenient experience.
Bon Secours is the largest tenant to occupy the new outparcel with its urgent care division which is part of a multi-clinic expansion across Richmond. The expansion is in response to Bon Secours’ patients and the community and the need for more accessible and convenient care options. The urgent care centers are open 8 am to 8 pm every day and treat minor illnesses and injuries for children and adults.
Stretch Zone has opened its first Richmond location at the outparcel. Stretch Zone is a practitioner-assisted stretching that uses the patented Stretch Zone Stabilization System, which is used to aid in increased mobility and muscle function. Stretch Zone can be used by anyone from athletes to people working at a desk all day.
The ownership of Ivymont Square Shopping Center, Morrissette Companies, sums up the success of the fully leased outparcel due to the efforts of its real estate broker’s Nicki Jassy and George Stuckey, coupled with the tremendous growth of the Midlothian Turnpike corridor, low vacancy and the surrounding developments providing healthy competition.
