Lawyers Of Color Honors Goodell DeVries Partner Jhanelle Graham Caldwell

Congratulations to Jhanelle Graham Caldwell on being named to Lawyers of Color’s inaugural Wonderful Women list for 2023.

Lawyers of Color is a nonprofit devoted to promoting diversity in the legal profession and advancing democracy and equality in marginalized communities. The Wonderful Women list recognizes “dynamic women attorneys working in law firms, companies, and government agencies across the U.S. who show promise in their careers and demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing diversity in the legal profession.”

This is the second time that Lawyers of Color has honored Jhanelle. In 2014, she was selected for the Lawyers of Color Hot List for the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Jhanelle is a partner at Goodell DeVries, where she practices in the firm’s Medical Malpractice and Product Liability Practice Groups. She is Vice Chair of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. She is also a junior board member of Boys Hope Girls Hope Baltimore, a charitable organization that provides at-risk children with mentorship, housing, exceptional academic opportunities, and support from middle school through college. She also serves on the board of Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (MdVLA), a nonprofit that provides pro bono and low-cost legal services to artists in Maryland.
