The MassMutual Foundation made the grant in honor of the volunteer efforts of Sam Eppy, CPFA a financial professional affiliated with Levanti Wealth in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
“We are stronger when we come together as a community. Our Community Service Awards program recognizes financial professionals that choose to affiliate with MassMutual and embody the ‘Live Mutual’ spirit, working with members of their respective neighborhoods, towns, and cities, helping nonprofits with which they are involved grow and thrive,” said Dennis Duquette, head of MassMutual Community Responsibility and president of the MassMutual Foundation. “We are proud of the time and energy Sam Eppy dedicates to better his community and are delighted to support his great work.”

“We are honored to be a recipient of the MassMutual Foundation grant as part of the foundation’s national Community Service Award (CSA) program. We are incredibly grateful for Sam’s support and his dedication to support our mission to empower individuals, strengthening older adults and families, and protecting the vulnerable and frail by providing direct home care and personal care services,” said Robin Miller, chief operating officer of Jewish Family Home Care. “The grant will be used for training for our caregivers.”
Eppy has been affiliated with Levanti Wealth for 14 years. Eppy has been volunteering with Jewish Family Home Care since 2018 and has dedicated countless hours of time and talent to help the organization grow and flourish.
“I am very pleased that my dedication to Jewish Family Home Care has been recognized by the MassMutual Foundation,” said Eppy.“This grant will provide much needed funding to continue supporting our community through tailor-made home health care plans for Florida seniors. We’ve raised $30 million over the last few years, focusing particularly on Holocaust survivors, but always with a long-term vision to support future generations. This generous $10,000 grant, which is earmarked specifically for caregiver training, underscores our commitment to continuously improving our Home Care Services. It is a testament to our belief that providing the best care for our seniors now and for future generations is about more than funds; it’s about ensuring our caregivers are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service. With this grant, we can create enduring, positive change for seniors in South Florida both now and in the years to come.”
