Electra USA to Recognize FW Sims Project Engineer Robert Lamardo as Employee of the Year

Electra USA, parent organization of FW Sims, is pleased to announce the recognition of FW Sims Project Engineer, Robert Lamardo, who is a distinguished professional known for his exceptional leadership and profound expertise. With a strong background in project management and a proven track record of successful project deliveries, Robert is a valuable asset to the company and is well deserving of this honor as employee of the year.

Known by his peers to be exceptionally hardworking, Robert has been a team member at the company since October of 2018 and quickly demonstrated his leadership abilities and attention to detail. Through his dedication and unwavering work ethic, he steadily climbed the ranks to his current role where his passion for working as a team player shines daily. Robert prides himself on going above and beyond to achieve what’s necessary to ensure that he always provides exceptional services.

“The motivation and positive attitude that Robert brings to work everyday has also had a positive impact on his 20+ peers,” said Electra USA President CEO Christopher Mills. “He is a known role model for those that are new to the company, which is easy to see. Not only that, but Robert is exceptionally collaborative and uses this to his advantage. For example, he was able to consolidate the tracking of progression of fabrication into one program to show all parties what happens from start to finish.”

“I wouldn’t be where I am now without the team that I have around me. We’re only as successful as we are, because we work together and get the job done,” Robert Lamardo said of being recognized.

Aside from his ability to be incredibly innovative, Robert impresses his peers with his punctuality and impressive professionalism. He fosters a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning, inspiring his team to consistently deliver excellence. Robert goes above and beyond to ensure his team has everything they need to complete their work and will involve everyone throughout the process to talk each step out until they meet their goal.

Of how he approaches challenging situations, Robert said: “One thing I’ve learned in construction work is that screaming or yelling rarely gets anything done. The only solution is to really get stuff done and being able to hear what both sides need and getting to a common goal and common ground on everything is kind of the best way to go about things. There’s kind of some give and take on both sides and you have to find that middle ground and how to get the job done.”

With all of this, it’s important for us to recognize Robert as an outstanding worker. He thrives even in challenging situations and his ability to adapt to changing project requirements and align them with the company’s objectives make him a reliable and resourceful team member. Robert is an integral part of the FW Sims team and we are proud of his continued efforts.
