Alpharetta Eatery Hosts Third Anniversary Pig Roast Sept. 17 and Oktoberfest Celebration Sept. 29-Oct.1

As this summer comes to a close, the celebrations are just getting started at HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern at Halcyon in Alpharetta with two spectacular events in September.

The popular gathering spot invites guests to celebrate its third anniversary with a pig roast on Sunday, Sept. 17. HOBNOB fans are in for a thrilling evening of live music and mouthwatering food. This unforgettable event is sure to delight food lovers and music lovers alike. The doors open at 4 p.m. followed by the buffet and a live band and DJ tunes at 5 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person (excluding gratuity and tax) and include two 16-ounce beers between 4-5 p.m.; eight ounces of roasted pork and a buffet of sides such as mac and cheese, collard greens, buns and barbecue sauce; free swag; raffles and prizes and a take-home HOBNOB glass. Guests also will have access to a full patio bar with lots of beer and drink specials. Tickets may be purchased online.

As summer turns to fall, HOBNOB shifts gears for an Oktoberfest celebration the weekend of Sept. 29-Oct. 1. The event kicks off Friday at lunch with German beer specials and Bavarian food offerings including pretzels with beer cheese, brats with sauerkraut and a Reuben sandwich with German potato salad. On Saturday, guests are invited to don their lederhosen and dirndls for live music and DJs starting at 6 p.m. and a costume contest to win a $50 gift card from 8-9 p.m. Food and drink specials continue through Sunday dinner.
