Voxel AI, a San Francisco, CA-based AI startup using computer vision to improve safety and operations in the workplace, raised $12M in funding.
The round, which brought the total amount to $30M, was led by Rite-Hite with participation from existing investors Eclipse Ventures and World Innovation Lab.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by CEO Alex Senemar, CTO Anurag Kanungo, Harishma Dayanidhi, and Troy Carlson, Voxel uses artificial intelligence to enable security cameras to automatically identify potential workplace hazards, high-risk activities, and operational inefficiencies, allowing on-site personnel to address concerns in real-time. The platform keeps workers safe, while helping companies to reduce overhead costs from general liability, worker’s compensation, and property claims. Its software is works for operations in warehousing, manufacturing, retail, transportation, construction, and oil & gas.
Fortune 500 firms like Michael’s, Dollar Tree, Clorox, PPG Industries, Office Depot, and many others, are using Voxel’s platform.
