Shake Shack Set to Debut in Jackson Heights in 2024
Shake Shack is thrilled to announce that it is expanding to the Jackson Heights, Queens area in 2024. The Shack will be located at 82-11 37th Avenue. This will be Shake Shack’s 51st location in the state of New York and the 4th company-owned location in Queens.
Shake Shack, a New York City founded eatery, is famous for serving elevated versions of American classics using only the best ingredients. It is known for its delicious made-to-order Angus beef burgers, crispy chicken, hand-spun milkshakes, house-made lemonades, beer, wine, and more. With its high-quality food at a great value, warm hospitality, and a commitment to crafting uplifting experiences, Shake Shack quickly became a cult-brand with widespread appeal.
Shake Shack’s food is always made-to-order, and the Jackson Heights Shack will continue to serve up all the classics, including the Shack Burger®, crinkle-cut fries, hand-spun shakes and the new Veggie Shack and Non-Dairy Shake and Frozen Custard offerings. The Shack’s new 2,727-square-foot location will offer guests an indoor dining experience along Jackson Heights’ prime retail corridor, which is in close proximity to Elmhurst Hospital.
Benjamin Weiner and Christopher Walther of RIPCO Real Estate and Kostas Koutsothanasis of RockFarmer Properties represented the landlord, RockFarmer Properties, in the transaction. Roberto Rhett of GoodSpace NYC represented the tenant, Shake Shack, which signed a long-term lease for the new space.
Built in 1998 and renovated in 2021, 82-11 37th Avenue, also known as Heritage Tower, is in the heart of Jackson Heights, Queens, a bustling commercial and retail district home to one of the city’s most diverse populations. Situated just one block from the 7 train and a few short blocks from the E, F, M and R trains, the nine-story office tower features on-site parking, an attended lobby and sweeping views of Queens and Manhattan.
