Leading Accounting, Tax and Advisory firm, Anchin, is pleased to announce its 18th annual State of the Construction Industry event on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2023 from 8:00 – 10:00 AM in cooperation with the New York Building Congress (NYBC), the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York) and the Subcontractors Trade Association (STA). The event will be held at Club 101, 101 Park Avenue, New York, NY.
This event will feature an outstanding panel of industry leaders and will provide an incredible opportunity to network with emerging leaders and top industry executives. This year’s event begins at 8:00 AM with a breakfast reception and networking. The keynote will begin at 8:30 AM, and the panel discussion will begin at 9:00 AM.
This year’s Keynote speaker will be Janno Lieber – Chair and CEO of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). John (“Janno”) Lieber was confirmed as Chair and CEO of the MTA in January 2022, following his nomination to that position by Gov. Kathy Hochul. Lieber has been serving as MTA Acting Chair and CEO since July 2021 and is the Authority’s 15th Chair since it was founded in 1968. In this position, Lieber provides strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the MTA, the largest public transportation agency in North America. He also heads the MTA Board of Directors, senior leadership team, and a total workforce of more than 60,000 employees.
