Newgard Development Group Appoints Javier Cuadros SVP of Development and Stephanie Adames SVP of Marketing

Sr. VP of Development Javier Cuadros and Sr. VP of Marketing Stephanie Adames bring considerable hospitality experience

Newgard Development Group, a leader in lifestyle residential developments across the Southeast, continues its corporate expansion with the addition of two new executives.  Javier Cuadros is Newgard’s new Senior Vice President of Development, while Stephanie Adames joins the firm as Senior Vice President of Marketing.

“Both Javier and Stephanie have substantial hospitality experience in their respective fields, which is pivotal as we grow our home-sharing development platform and our LOFTY and Natiivo brands,” said Harvey Hernandez, Newgard Development Group CEO.

Immediately prior to joining Newgard, Cuadros spent more than 10 years as Vice President of Development at The Related Group.  He oversaw all aspects of pre-development and development activities including entitlement and zoning approvals, design and construction, sales and marketing, financial analysis and budgeting.  Many of the projects he oversaw included both a residential and hotel component, such as the SLS LUX Brickell Hotel & Residences, Hyde Midtown and SLS Cancun.

Cuadros also worked as a Project Manager for Dacra Development in Miami and a Development Manager for Diursa Development Group, a development company based in Spain.

Cuadros holds two bachelor’s degrees –one in Architecture and one in Environmental Design– from Ball State University.  He worked as an architect for six years out of college.

Adames has more than two decades of corporate and brand marketing experience, leading teams and business growth at major U.S. corporations. In her role at Newgard, she leads all marketing and communication strategies and initiatives for both corporate and individual real estate projects.

Immediately prior to joining Newgard, Adames worked at Interval International (an operating business of Marriott Vacations Worldwide), most recently as Vice President of Corporate Marketing. Adames managed strategic planning for the brand, advertising and promotions, communications, b2b programs and marketing initiatives for the global vacation ownership membership company that comprised 3,200 affiliated resorts in 80 countries and 1.6. million members.

Prior to joining Interval, Adames was a key contributor to the marketing team at Oracle Corporation, driving the launch and market awareness efforts for Oracle Delphi, an enterprise-wide technology system. She started her career working in the on-air advertising department at the NBC network.  Adames holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Communications from Hunter College.
