In what may be a record for school construction, Offsite Modular Construction (OMC), LLC, a mass producer of modular spaces, manufactured 12 state-of-the-art classrooms from design, construction, delivery and installation in just over 100 days. Thanks to the development of the classrooms, located in two new 6,400-square-foot modular buildings, hundreds of middle and high school students at Westlake Academy were able to attend classes in modern learning spaces this fall semester.
Though similar projects have been known to take multiple years, OMC was able to deliver the quality Westlake Academy wanted in the tight timeframe that the school district required.

It was important for us to provide our students and staff with a safe and aesthetically pleasing space for learning,” said Sean Kilbride, Westlake Mayor. “The quality of these buildings is far superior to the ones that were in place here for so many years. We’re quite certain our students will be as happy with the results as we are.”

- Security doors with access control in every classroom and integrated surveillance equipment
