GREENWICH, Conn .– ( BUSINESS WIRE ) – Interactive Brokers Group (Nasdaq: IBKR), a global broker, is pleased to announce that Michael McClain has joined as Director of Operations for Customers in North America. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, Milan Galik, Michael is based in the IBKR office in Chicago. In this new role, Michael will focus on an end-to-end strategy to scale our customer service and support the active expansion of our business in the future.
Michael is taking on the responsibilities of Andy Naughton, who is retiring. Throughout his 15-year career at IBKR, Andy has been instrumental in building our Customer Operations capabilities during a period of dynamic expansion. We appreciate your important contributions to the business, your tireless dedication to our mission and your friendship. We wish Andy success in his retirement.

Prior to joining IBKR, Michael was Executive Director and General Manager of Stock Clearing Business at Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), which specializes in post-trade market infrastructure for the financial services industry worldwide. He was directly responsible for the day-to-day management of stock clearing activities for trades carried out on major US stock exchanges and other stock trading venues. Prior to this, he had a 15-year tenure with Options Clearing Corporation (OCC), the largest equity derivatives clearing organization in the world, where he held a variety of roles. Michael earned an MBA degree from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Information Systems Management from Lewis University.
