Virdee, an Austin, TX-based company which specializes in guest experience technology and check-in automation, raised $12.4M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Moneta Ventures with participation from Silverton Partners, Koch Real Estate Investments, Alumni Ventures, DJR Advisors, Capital Factory and other partners. In. conjunction with the funding, Brent Kelton, Partner at Moneta Ventures, joined Virdee’s board.
The investment, which brought the total amount to $21M, followed previous Seed financing led by Silverton Partners in February 2022 as well as a 2020 angel investment led by Rajiv Trivedi, former President of La Quinta Inns & Suites.
The company intends to use the funds to further its technological innovation with expanded product features and functionality, while growing its workforce, and its presence in the hospitality sector.
