Le Colonial Delray Debuts Daily Lunch Service and Introduces New Menu Items

Le Colonial, the acclaimed French-Vietnamese restaurant located in downtown Delray Beach, will debut daily lunch service on Monday, November 27. Lunch will be served each day from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Since its February opening, Le Colonial has served lunch on Saturdays and Sundays and is expanding the service due to demand as season approaches.

At lunch, two Vietnamese bento boxes will be available. The Hanoi includes Cha Gio (shrimp and pork roll) and Bun Cha (chargrilled lemongrass beef patty with pickled papaya, vermicelli noodles and nuoc cham sauce) ($28). The vegetarian bento box includes Bo Bia (chilled vegetable roll) and with pickled papaya, vermicelli noodles and nuoc cham sauce) ($28). The vegetarian bento box includes Bo Bia (chilled vegetable roll) and CÀ Tím Xào Xā (eggplant and tofu stir fry with steamed jasmine rice) ($24).

The restaurant offers many vegetarian and vegan options on both the lunch and dinner menus, including the new lunch item Goi Ngo Sen (lotus root salad) with lotus roots and crispy pickled vegetables. Other dishes include Vietnamese sweet prawns, heady herbs, fried shallot toasted peanuts and a tangy, spicy dressing ($18); and a new vegan dish, Com Chien Chay Truffle (signature vegan fried rice with truffle essence) with Thai jasmine rice, preserved radish, beansprout, king oyster mushrooms, black truffle oil and vegan fish sauce ($21).

Also available for lunch is Tom Muc Ngu Vi (crispy shrimp and calamari) with Florida tiger shrimp, wild New Zealand calamari, five spices, tamarind sauce and crispy aromatic herbs ($18); and Xiu Mai (pork and chicken shumai) with heritage pork, Cook’s Venture chicken, wood ear mushrooms and a black truffle sauce.

In addition, Adam Lipson will DJ in the lounge on Wednesdays, beginning November 29th.

Le Colonial is located at 601 East Atlantic Avenue.  Dinner in the main dining room is available Sunday through Wednesday from 4-10 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4-11 p.m. Lunch will be available each day from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Starting November 27, The lounge will be open the same hours as the dining room but will stay open one hour later than the main dining room each night. The lounge is walk-in only, offering a full lounge menu until an hour before it closes.
