The 27 private apartments with ensuite bathrooms are thoughtfully designed for those living with memory impairment. Alzheimer’s disease is a growing public health crisis throughout the country, including Arizona. According to the Alzheimer’s Association the number of deaths from Alzheimer’s disease from 2000 to 2019 increased 191.6%. The impact of Alzheimer’s is projected to rise with an estimated increase of 33.3% by 2025. The most recent data shows 150,000 people aged 65 and older are living with Alzheimer’s in Arizona alone. This resulted in 261,000 family caregivers bearing the burden of the disease in the state of Arizona in 2022.

The Pueblo Norte team of trained professionals provides compassionate and personalized care for residents with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia through our Bridge to Rediscovery Montessori-based approach. The care plans are customized to each resident to enhance their emotional and physical well-being. Residents receive specialty meals served daily through their AlerisLife Dining program which supports socialization, independence, and nutritional needs in a familiar setting of family meals. Social, recreational, and educational programs are a top priority with meaningful hands-on activities to encourage engagement and purposeful experiences.
