About Cahill Law

  • Cahill Law provides strategic advice and solutions in employment law. The Firm’s work spans from forging strong contracts, to spearheading winning negotiations, to prevailing in litigation in federal and state courts.
  • Cahill Law represents individuals working in all fields and sectors of the economy: from the C-Suite to the surgical suite; from the port to the lab; from the tech hub to the boiler room; from tableside to bedside; from a desk chair to a squad car. While Kathleen has partnered with her clients for many courtroom victories, she considers her most important accomplishments to be the countless instances of privately and confidentially diffusing disputes, avoiding restrictive covenants, negotiating strong employment, severance, and settlement agreements, and ensuring fair terms for fulfilling careers.
  • Kathleen engages in volunteer and community service, formally and informally, including service on the Boards and committees of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Maryland and American Associations for Justice, the National and Maryland Employment Lawyers Associations, and the Baltimore City Bar Association. Ms. Cahill built her firm on the strong foundation of her experience and training at DLA Piper (then Piper & Marbury). For fun and fortitude, she works out daily.
  • Owen volunteers on the board of the Homeless Persons Representation Project, a nonprofit providing legal services to the homeless. In his free time, he enjoys lifting weights and skiing.
